Introduction to Qigong
Taught by Master Can, a 34th generation Shaolin Warrior Monk, this course is the perfect introduction to Qigong for beginners, and will take you through the basics of Qigong, from background information and warmups, through learning your first few movements.
Totaling over 90 minutes of video content, this course is designed to give you everything you need to get started, and will likely be updated in the future with links to more relevant blogs, videos, and other materials to supplement your learning experience.

About Master Can
Our founder, Master Can, began his training as a Shaolin Warrior Monk at 7 years old at Shaolin Temple in Henan, China. He went on to become a Kung Fu Champion, winning a multitude of local and national championships. Since then, he has amassed a rich international teaching experience. Master Can opened Zen Shaolin with the goal of sharing traditional martial arts and the Shaolin Way, and educating people on the positive holistic impact the Shaolin Arts can have on one's life.
What you’ll learn

Before you begin learning your first movements, Master Can will introduce you to the practice of Qigong and the Traditional Chinese Medicine principles that it is based on. Then, he will teach you a warmup routine that will ensure that you are both mentally and physically prepared to begin practicing Qigong.

Master Can will take you through learning eight core Qigong movements, step-by-step. These movements will not only serve as the basis for your first Qigong form, but also provide a strong foundation for your future Qigong practice.

Master Can will guide you as you put together everything you have learned so far, combining the movements you have learned to complete your first form. You will be able to practice this form alongside our team, and leave the course with the ability to incorporate Qigong practice into your daily life.
